It's fun to learn together. Yousician's social features turn playing into a friendly and motivating experience by allowing you to follow friends, track their progress, and discover their favorite songs. You can also compete on the song Leaderboards, challenge each other, and celebrate milestones together.
To enable the social features, ensure that the Make your profile private option is toggled off (gray) in the Privacy tab. Once done, select the button in the top left corner to find your friends.
Following
- Go to the Following tab and select the Search button

- Enter your friend's username and select Done on a mobile device or Enter on a desktop.
- From the search results, select the Profile button to view their profile.
- On their profile page, select Follow. You can now find your friend listed in your Following tab.
If your friend is learning more than one instrument, you can switch between them using the Instrument buttons located in the top right corner of their profile. The Statistics tab shows your friend's playtime stats. If you want to see the songs they've played, you can find that information in the History tab. The Favorites tab lists songs they have added as favorites.
How to unfollow
- Go to the Following tab, select their username, and choose Unfollow.
Followers
The Followers tab displays friends who are following you.
- Select the Profile button in the Followers tab to view your friend's profile.
- On your friend's profile, you can access their Statistics, History, and Favorites tabs - just like when viewing friends who follow you.
- If they are learning more than one instrument, you can switch between them using the Instrument buttons at the top right corner of their profile.
