"I already have an established training plan. How can I incorporate Yousician?"
It's great that you have built up these resources. Yousician can be a great addition to your existing tools & practices.
Your students don't have to go through the Yousician syllabus. They’re welcome to use any or all of it, but if you’re using another syllabus, that’s great too. The core idea with Yousician is, that it’s a huge library of high-quality, engaging, interactive content. You can use it in a wide variety of ways.
For example, use song search to find songs covering a wide range of genres and techniques. These are all organised by difficulty level, to make it easy to supplement your existing syllabus. You can find plenty of great content from beginner to advanced player. The Practice mode, with the ability to slow down and loop certain parts of a song, is also very useful.
Since the content is engagingly presented and gamified, teachers tell us their students practice more regularly and with greater attention to detail, than they would with a normal printed page. Also, what we hear as well, is that Yousician works with students who might have difficulties concentrating or sitting still otherwise. In group lessons, the social aspect of playing together and going for points and stars at the same time can be very motivating.
Every teacher uses Yousician in a slightly different way. We are confident you find ways to use it that we haven’t even thought of. We encourage you to try it as part of your lesson, and see how your students react.
