To make sure Yousician is able to hear what you are playing, you might need to change the input level on your computer.
Via Control Panel
- Open Control Panel and select "Hardware and Sound".
- Select Sound and go to the Recording tab.
- Right-click on Microphone and select "Properties".
- Go to the Levels tab and use the slider to change the input level and select "Ok" once done.
Via Task Notification Area
- Right-click the speaker icon from the bottom right corner of the screen, and from the displayed menu select "Open sound settings".
- On the opened Sound window, make sure Sound tab is selected.
- Scroll down and under Related settings, select the Sound control panel option.
- Go to the Recording tab and right-click on Microphone and select "Properties".
- Go to the Levels tab and use the slider to change the input level and select "Ok" once done.
MacOS
To make sure Yousician is able to hear what you are playing, you might need to change the input level on your computer.
Via System Preferences
- Open System Preferences and choose "Sound".
- Select your sound input device and use the slider to change the volume.
Via Audio MIDI Setup
- Open Audio MIDI Setup and select the corresponding input device.
- Change the input volume using the slider.
Note: both "Sound" (System Preferences) and "Audio Midi Setup" can also be accessed by doing a search (cmd + space) and writing either "Sound" or "Audio Midi Setup".
