If you see "Internet connection lost" or similar error, check to ensure your Internet connection is working. Also check that a firewall/anti-virus software is not blocking Yousician's access to the Internet.
In case of any technical issues, you can also do a complete reinstallation. Reinstallation does not delete your progress in-app.
Windows 10 & 11
- Uninstall Yousician. Find information from Windows support about removing programs.
- Delete the following folders (the folder directory may vary depending on your Windows username):
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Yousician
,C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Yousician Launcher
andC:\users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Yousician
If you can't find the AppData folder, check instructions from Windows support about showing hidden files.
- Run a disk cleanup to remove temporary files. Find information from Windows support about disk cleanup.
- Reinstall the app from our website.
macOS
Delete all Yousician files from your Mac and install the app again. Please also check the following on how to clear cache on macOS.
Mobile devices
Delete the app, reboot your device and reinstall Yousician.
