Follow these steps to restore your GuitarTuna premium subscription - including Tools, Play, and Learn - across other devices and platforms.
I bought premium with Google Play and now have an iPhone/iPad
To access the content on an iPhone or iPad, you need to restore the purchase on an Android device, using the Google Play account tied to the original purchase.
Note: If you logged into the GuitarTuna app with your Google Play account before switching to an iPhone or iPad, your purchase is already linked to your account. You can skip ahead to Step 6 to log in on your new device.
Step 1: Restore the purchase on an Android device
- Sign in with Google Play
On any Android device, go to the device settings, and log in with the Google Play account you used to make the purchase.
- Install and open GuitarTuna
Download GuitarTuna from the Google Play Store. Open the app, and follow the on-screen prompts to proceed to the Songs tab.
- Go to Settings
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right corner and the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Log in with Google
In the Account & Subscription section, tap Log in and Continue with Google. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the login.
Note: Be sure to use the Google Play account tied to the original purchase.
- Restore purchase
Tap Restore purchases in the Accounts & Subscription section.
Step 2: Access the content on iPhone or iPad
- Open GuitarTuna on your new device
Open the GuitarTuna app, and follow the on-screen prompts to proceed to the Songs tab.
- Go to Settings
Tap the Profile button in the bottom right corner and Settings in the top right corner.
- Log in with Google
In the Account & Subscription section, tap Log in and Continue with Google. Follow the on-screen prompts to log in to your account and restore access.
Note: Be sure to use the Google Play account tied to the original purchase.
I bought premium with Apple and now have an Android device
To access the content on an Android device, you need to restore the purchase on an iPhone or iPad, using the Apple ID account tied to the original purchase.
Note: If you logged into the GuitarTuna app with your Apple ID account before switching to Android, your purchase is already linked to your account. You can skip ahead to Step 6 to log in on your new device.

I want to access my favorite songs across devices on the same platform
To sync your favorite songs on another device using the same platform (Apple or Google), follow these steps:
- Open GuitarTuna on your device
Open the GuitarTuna app, and follow the on-screen prompts to proceed to the Songs tab.
- Go to Settings
Tap the Profile button in the bottom right corner and Settings in the top right corner.
- Log in with Apple or Google
In the Account & Subscription section, tap Log in and Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.
Note: Be sure to use the Apple/Google account tied to the original purchase.
- Complete login
Follow the on-screen prompts to log in to your account and gain access to your song favorites.
