You can restore your previous purchase by following these steps on your device:
- Make sure you are logged in with the Apple/Google Play account email address you used to buy a tuning package or subscription.
- If you are using an Android device:
Make sure to login and use the account that you made the previous purchase(s). You can follow the “Switch between accounts” section in this article from Google Play support. If you were using a different account, you need to re-install GuitarTuna after selecting the correct one. - If you are using iPhone or iPad:
Make sure to login with the account that you made the previous purchase(s) by following this article from Apple support. If you were using a different account, you need to re-install GuitarTuna after logging in with the correct iTunes account.
- If you are using an Android device:
- Open the app and select the Settings button in the bottom right corner.
- Scroll down to the Subscription section and tap Restore Purchases button.
If the restore didn't work and you are using an Android device, try to clear the app cache and data by doing the following:
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap App & Notifications/App management → See all apps/App list.
- Scroll down and select GuitarTuna from the list.
- Tap Storage/Storage usage → Clear cache.
- Next tap Clear data.
Once you clear data and cache, try to restore the purchase again.
Note: cross-platform transfers (e.g. Android → iOS or iOS → Android) are not possible.
